George Ripp passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 70 years, Donna Ripp (Ness); his children, Patty Voss, Roger Ripp, Joni (Neil) Ripp, Bev (Keith) Hellenbrand; his brother Cyril Ripp; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his siblings; Marie Pertzborn, Betty Marx, Sally Miller, Agnes Ganser, Viola Mabis, Ann Woodburn , Sylvester and John Ripp; son-in-law Steve Voss, daughter-in-law Terry Ripp, and great-grand son Dax Ripp.
A Visitation for George will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Winn- Cress Funeral Home in Waunakee. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 25th, with a 9:30 am viewing and 11:00 am service at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Martinsville, immediately followed by a lunch in the Martinsville School Hall.
A very special thank you to his granddaughter, Jodi Green, for all her extra efforts to take care of George in his final months.
