George Martin

Sun Prairie - George "Pat" Martin, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.

Pat was a proud army veteran, serving on the European front and in Germany during World War II. He went on to work as a manager at Wisconsin Telephone for 40 years. Pat was also a lifetime Packer fan.

Pat is survived by his wife; Ruth Weisensel, children; Mary, Jane, Patricia, Michael, Ann, Timothy, Helen, and Paul, 15 grandchildren, and 23 greatgrandchildren.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace Sun Prairie, Wisconsin 53590 on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Pat, to Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, 221 Columbus St., Sun Prairie, WI 53590 or to Heartland Hospice, 2810 Crossroads Dr., Ste 1300, Madison, WI 53718.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the care givers at Brookdale Senior Living and Heartland Hospice for all the care and love given to Pat and to our family.
