Gary Osman

Oregon - Gary R. Osman, age 78, passed away peacefully November 10, 2015 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veteran's Hospital. He was born December 30, 1936 in Rochester, MN, son of Wilfred and Evelyn (Krueger) Osman. Gary was united in marriage to Judy (Olson) Simonson on April 25, 1997 in Madison.

Gary served in the Army during Vietnam and taught foreign language at McFarland High School, retiring in 1996. Gary loved learning and influencing the lives of others through education. He knew no strangers and loved learning about everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years Judy; daughters Heather Connelly, Jana (Josh) Lyons and Kjirsten (Dave) Elsner; grandchildren Brenna and Christian Connelly; Austin, Johnny, Ryder and Joe Lyons and Thea Elsner.

A memorial gathering for Gary will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Avenue, Stoughton.

The family would like to thank the staff at the VA hospital for their respectful and loving care for Gary and his family.
