STOUGHTON - Gail N. Bothum, age 65, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was born June 2, 1952 in Madison to the late David and Joyce (Gelschus) Nolte. She married Thomas Bothum in Madison on Dec 31, 1983.
Gail was a gifted artist and had a long career as a graphic, print and website designer; which earned her several national awards. She loved traveling with her family, especially to her favorite getaway on the island of St. John. Gail loved to spend time working in the yard but her passion was for helping others and being a servant to God. She was an amazing wife, mother and most recently, a cherished "Grammy" to grandson, James.
Gail will be missed by her husband Thomas; daughter Megan (Jake) Ennis; grandson James Ennis; siblings Mark (Karen) Nolte, Neil Nolte, Lynn (Roger) Hamilton, Greg Nolte; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday June 10, 2018 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 206 W. Prospect St. Stoughton, WI 53589. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until the service at the funeral home.
