Franklin Mann

Franklin Mann, age 83, died peacefully at Meriter Hospital September 21, 2009, surrounded by his family.   Franklin is survived by Frances, his wife of 62 years, brother Eugene (Judith), sons; Stephen (Genie), Paul (Diane), Jonathan ( Shari), and four grandchildren, Benjamin, Arielle, Scott, and Joshua Mann.   Franklin served in World War II as a member of the Army Air Corp, assigned to the Pacific Theatre.   Most importantly, Franklin was a loving husband and father.   His lessons, wisdom and life long passion for learning and political debate will be a gift to his family, even in future generations.   Graveside services will be held at FOREST HILL CEMETERY on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 11:00 am.   Please meet inside the gates of the cemetery for the procession to the grave.   Memorial gifts may be made to Beth Israel Center, 1406 Mound St., Madison, WI.
