Francis Matuszak

Madison - Francis "Frank" M. Matuszak, age 90, passed away peacefully in Palliative care at St. Mary's Care Center, Madison, with his wife Jean at his side on Dec. 31, 2015. He was born in Milwaukee to Michael and Elizabeth (Stencel) Matuszak on Jan. 29, 1925.

He enlisted in the Army Air Force 831st Bombardment Squadron and served 4 years during World War II.

Frank retired as Facilities Manager for AT&T with 40 years of service. He was a member of the AT&T Pioneers Lifetime group. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Middleton. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4527. He was also a member of the Madison Curling Club.

He is survived by his wife Jean, daughter Vicki (Alan) Grant of Gilbert, AZ, granddaughter Tiffany (Will) Larson of Gilbert, AZ, great-granddaughter Kennedy Larson and baby Larson, coming June 6, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his sister Eleanor Matuszak. He is further survived by a sister, Jeanne Toyek of Cudahy, a brother, Blaise Matuszak of New Berlin, brother-in-law Robert (Jan) Kliesmet of Milwaukee, sister-in-law Carol Kingsley of Surprise, AZ, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be private and a Memorial Service will be planned for a later date. Frank will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Care Center for the outstanding, compassionate care Frank received during his stay. For those wishing to do so, a memorial to the Parkinson Foundation, 1501 N. W. 9th Ave., Bob Hope Rd, Miami, FL 33136-1494 would be appreciated.
