Frances “Fran” Leinweber died July 9, 2025 in Madison, where she was being cared for by family. Fran was born on August 13, 1932 in Oshkosh, WI. She was the first of five children of Harold and Mary Lord. On November 12, 1952 she married Ronald Leinweber with whom she had a son, Bruce, and a daughter, Wendy.
Fran was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, and her daughter, Wendy. She is survived by her son Bruce, his wife, grandsons Samuel and David, and great grandson Marcel.
To comply with Fran’s instructions, her funeral will be a simple graveside service limited to immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent directly to Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, or the Oshkosh Humane Society.
