STOUGHTON- Frances E. Julseth, age 91, entered her heavenly home on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Skaalen Home after surviving many strokes. She was born in the family home on October 11, 1921 the daughter of Charles and Mary (Hunt) Johnson. Frances graduated from Stoughton H.S. in 1939. She was a contented homemaker and wife of Howard Julseth. She trusted Christ as her Savior as a teen and since 1970 has been a member of Stoughton Baptist Church. Frances was a charter member and longtime secretary for Small Animal Advocates. She was a member of Stoughton Hospital Auxiliary and Stoughton Historical Society. Flowers, her many cats over the years and friends gave her much pleasure. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and George Thode; two grandsons, Michael (Sarah) and Timothy (Michelle) Thode; four great-grandchildren, Christina, Theresa, Andrew and Anthony. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon reception at 12 noon on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in the Skaalen Friendship Room, 400 N. Morris Street. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Skaalen Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Weiss officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Ave., Stoughton and from 1:00 until the time of services on Saturday at Skaalen. Memorials may be made to the Small Animal Advocates, Stoughton Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Skaalen Activity Fund.
