Frances M. Hirsch

Frances M. Hirsch, age 95, died on Friday, June 24, 2011 at HospiceCare, Fitchburg. She was born on June 9, 1916 to August and Esther Meyer in Tripoli, Wisconsin. Frances resided in northern Wisconsin, Milwaukee and Madison. She was united in marriage to Walter W. Hirsch on November 25, 1948. Frances was employed by the State of Wisconsin in Madison, and the American Bowling Congress in Milwaukee. In her later years, she was a Braille transcriptionist for Volunteer Braillists & Tapists Inc. Frances is survived by her two children, Janet Hirsch of Madison, and John Hirsch of Bellingham, Washington; her grandchildren, Sarah, Jessica and Nathan of Bellingham, Washington; her nephew, William (Sandy) Kaliebe; and her niece, Joanne (Mark) Holmes. She was preceded in death by her husband; and sister, Lois (Frank) Kaliebe. Private family services will be held.
