Evelyn Saemann

Evelyn J. Saemann, age 90, passed away on December 7, 2011 at Agrace Hospice in Madison following a brief illness. She was born December 16, 1920 in Sparta, WI to Anna (Nienast) and Harry Isensee. She was a graduate of Sparta High School. Evelyn worked for the Federal Government for 32 years, including the RFC in Washington, D.C. and the FDIC in Madison, retiring in 1984. She was a long time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Madison. Survivors include two daughters, Lynn Chapman of Edgerton, WI and Lauri (Alan) Clapp of Cedarburg, WI; and two granddaughters, Sarah and Amy Clapp of Cedarburg. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Jesse Saemann Jr.; two sisters, Clara Brenn and Grace Dinley; and a son-in-law, Michael Chapman. In honoring Evelyn's wishes, no services will be held.
