Evelyn Nordness

Evelyn M. Nordness "Aunt Evie", age 95, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 in Sun Prairie. She was born on June 1, 1917 in Waterloo and was the daughter of Joseph and Elsie (Krueger) Arnold. She was a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church. She worked for Eagle Foods, enjoyed traveling very much, both stateside and overseas.
She is survived by nieces and nephews; Carol (Jim) Fowler, Mary (Joe) Pate, Roxanne Engelke, Beverly (Steve) Drinka, Monica (Terry) Reed, Lloyd Bram, Donna Bosch, Diane Gosdeck, Dennis (Cindy) Arnold, Darlene (Glen) Travnick, Richard J. (Lea) Nordness, Terrance (Barb) Nordness, Kurt (Ann) Nordness, Curt Johnson, Denise (Jeff) Stier, Bonnie Miller, Diane (Reiner) Meyer, and David J. (Mary) Miller; great and great grand nieces and nephews of which she was very proud.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Lawrence in 1993, her parents, brother Merlin and his wife Jeanette, sister Ethelyn and her husband Walter, an infant sister Doris, nieces Cathy Bram and Rose Ann Johnson, nephews Steve Engelke and David Arnold, and God son Daniel Irwin.
A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 7, 20212 at 1:30 pm at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Sun Prairie with Msgr. Duane Moellenberndt presiding. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services. Committal service will take place at Sun Prairie Memory Garden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Sun Prairie.
