Evelyn F. DiCicco

Evelyn F. DiCicco, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 after a short battle with cancer.   She was born on May 6, 1924 in Belvidere, IL, and was a 38 year resident of Las Vegas.   She is survived by a son, Thomas (Gwendolyn) Kaiser; a grandson, Robert (Alina) Kaiser; 2 step-granddaughters; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and one step great-great grandson.   Evelyn spent most of her last 38 years baking breads, cakes and cookies for her friends and neighbors, and was a heavy supporter of St. Joseph's Indian School in Chamberlain, South Dakota.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, where the family will greet friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.    Following services, Evelyn will be buried at Eastside Cemetery in Stoughton next to her husband, Frank DiCicco, who preceded her in death.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, PO Box 300, Chamberlain, South Dakota, 57326-0300.
