Eugene Vosberg

WAUNAKEE - Eugene J. Vosberg, age 84, passed away at Agrace Hospicecare on Monday, April 4, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. Eugene was born on May 18, 1932, the son of John and Clara (Berning) Vosberg in Grant County, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Loras College and proudly served his country in the Korean War. In 1973, he married Darcy (Morrick) Fedor and moved to Westport where he enjoyed 42 years of marriage.

Gene was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer and loved working with wood. He volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Waunakee EMS Department and cantored at St. Mary of the Lake Church.

Eugene is survived by his wife Darcy, his daughter Tami (Alan) Esser from Monroe, Michael Fedor, Lyndsy Struck and Andy (Connie) Fedor from McFarland, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 5460 Mary Lake Rd., in Westport. Rev Alex Carmel will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of services at the church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Agrace Hospicecare staff.
