Eugene E. Mears, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at his home. Eugene was born February 18, 1927 the son of Thomas and Stella Mears in Sauk City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Dr., Madison, WI 53711, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
