Eudelma Richgels

Richgels, Eudelma Rosena (Bomkamp) - Eudelma Richgels, age 95, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Willow Pointe Assisted Living, Verona. She was born in Highland, Wisconsin on May 25, 1919. She is survived by children Glen (Sharon - Amber Severson , Erin, Erik); Dale (Jan - Scott, Randy, Ryan); Mary Sagartz (Mathias - Laurel, Ruthe, Mathias, Stephen, Nicholas, Theresa); Donna Appleton decd 2012 (Phil - Andrea, Elizabeth); brothers Robert and Gerald Bomkamp; sisters Magdalen McGuire, Rosemary Searles, and Bernadine Olson. She is preceded in death by parents Laura (Kreul) and William Bomkamp, husband Marion Richgels, daughter Donna Appleton, and brothers Evroul, Delbert, Marion, Bernard, and Lauren. She worked at K-Mart for over 25 years. Eudelma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother who loved to laugh and brought joy to all who knew her. She enjoyed playing cards and other games with family and friends. In her free time she enjoyed yard work, crocheting, sewing and crafts.
Visitation will be held Monday June 2, 2014 at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave. Madison, WI. 53705, from 4pm-7pm with prayers at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2014 at 11am at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison with Msgr. Michael L. Burke presiding. A visitation will precede the Mass from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at church. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens at 2pm. In Eudelma's name, donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
