Ethel Weber

Madison - Ethel A. Weber, age 92 passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her home at Capitol Lakes Health Care Center just three hours short of her 93rd birthday. She was born on May 4, 1925 in Stratford, Wisconsin, the daughter of Philipine and Julius Shadof. On July 17, 1948 Ethel was united in marriage to Ralph Weber in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a member of Eastside Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Ethel is survived by five children; Susan Elskamp of Evansville, Marilyn (Keith) Strohbusch of Cottage Grove, Christine (John) Doyle of Newberg, Oregon, Cindy (Kevin) Merrigan of Madison and Diane Kelley of Tucson, Arizona, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and her brother Walter (Ruth) Shadof of Ixonia, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, son, Kenneth, sisters; Lydia Schelk, Delores Yanke, Irene Greene, Grace Erickson and brothers, Jerry Shadof, Leonard Shadof, Clarence Shadof and Kenneth Shadof.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Eastside Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2310 Independence Lane, Madison, Wisconsin on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:30 am with Reverend Peter Schlicht officiating. A time to gather will be held at the church on Wednesday the 23rd from 10:00 am until the time of service.
