Ethel Sorensen

Madison - Ethel H. Sorensen, age 96 passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015. Ethel was born on February 2, 1919 in Barrington, Illinois. She moved to Oakwood in 2001 after living in Mt. Horeb and Park Ridge, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Stanley; a grandson, Scott Skamarak; a sister, Marion McKay; and two brothers, Will Larsen and Roy Larsen.

Ethel is survived by their three children: Sandra Glaeve of Madison, WI, Laurie Hansen of Phillips, WI and Curt Sorensen (Karen) of Madison, WI; a granddaughter, Cindy Skamarak of Mt. Horeb, WI; and a great grandson, Dylan Cudo of Madison, WI.

Funeral services will be held at Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge - Tree of Life Chapel, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 am with Chaplain Wayne Shannon officiating. A visitation will be held at Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge - Tree of Life Chapel from 10:00 am until the time of services.
