Elsie Neath

Madison - Elsie Mildred (Emmer) Millard Neath, age 94, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Harmony Living Center. She was born on September 25, 1919 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, the third child of Mike and Sadie (Sass) Emmer.
She married Gerald J. Millard. To this union was born three children; Wanda, Gerald Jr., and Janet. Elsie married M. Eldon Neath on October 2, 1982. They enjoyed 18 happy years together before his passing in January 2000. Elsie was employed for 30 years at Oscar Mayer Company until her retirement in 1981. After retirement Elsie was an active volunteer at Lakeview Lutheran Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing, Gerald Jr. (Linda) Millard, Janet (Richard) Hoppe, Eldon's three children; Gerald (Jeannie) Neath, Larry (Sarita) Neath and Rick (Denise) Neath, eight grandchildren; Colin (Holly) Millard, Gail Millard, Brent (Danielle) Millard, Craig (Marie) Hoppe, Michelle (Jamie) Wallace, Catie (Josh) Sondrol, Andy (Christina) Neath and Jennifer Davenport, eleven great grandchildren; Samantha and Natalie Millard, Amanda and Alex Hoppe, Caitlyn, Jacob, Ben, Will and Grace Wallace and Madi and Payton Sondrol and a sister-in-law; Delores Emmer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; Mike and Sadie Emmer, husband; Eldon Neath, her daughter; Wanda, son-in-law; George Lange, grandson; Bobby Lange and four siblings; Michael, Marian, Belva and Darwin "Jim".
Funeral services will be held at LAKEVIEW LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4001 Mandrake Road, Madison, WI on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 10:30 am with Reverend Dean Kirst officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of services. Graveside services will follow at Lakeview Lutheran Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Elsie to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
