MADISON - Elizabeth Ann "Betty Ann" Oldenburg, age 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan 29th at the Attic Angel Community residence. She was born in Madison, Wi, on Nov. 16, 1924, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Graham Reynolds. Betty Ann graduated from Wisconsin High School in Madison and from the UW-Madison. She married Douglas VW Oldenburg in Madison on Oct. 9, 1948. He was a financial representative with the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company for 57years. Betty Ann interrupted her career in Personnel to be a great mother to her three sons. After they were older she resumed her career working as a professional Volunteer Coordinator, first at Mendota State Hospital and then at St. Mary's hospital in Madison. Betty Ann and Doug were married for 58 years until his passing in 2006. They were members of the "W" Club, the Madison Elks Lodge No. 410, Blackhawk County Club and the University Club. She was a faithful member of the Queen of Peace Parish.

She is survived by her three sons, Scott, Kurt (Julie) and Kent (Heidi) Oldenburg; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Kimberly Oldenburg.

A Memorial Mass will be held at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 405 S. Owen Dr., Madison, on Friday, February 2, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. with Msgr. Kenneth J. Fiedler presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of the Mass.
