Madison- Elizabeth Ann Armiak, age 58, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Madison. She was born on September 9, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Jerome and Lillian (Lucas) Korwin.
Elizabeth graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor's degree and received a Master's degree from Oakland University. She was a licensed, psychologist in Michigan.
Elizabeth's first love was family and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren be it long phone calls, holiday celebrations, shopping trips, movies or sharing a good meal. Leisure time was spent with her horse, Fiddlyn, dog, Tiffany, gardening, shopping, cooking, babysitting Jax, reading a good book or just being with friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Michael; children, David (Mishim) Armiak and Emily (Charlie Berardi) Armiak, two grandchildren, Wynston and Emma Armiak; parents, Lillian and Jerome Korwin; sister, Rebecca (David) Kastner, brother, Gregory (Barbara) Korwin; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Elizabeth suffered from chronic illnesses but her strong will to live led her to become a life long learner, have a deepened spirituality, and a connection with community. She believed in giving back, and was often the first person to offer a helping hand, kind word, or smile.
