Scheiding, Eleanor L., age 91 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 27, 2014. She was born in Madison on July 30, 1922.
Eleanor was united in marriage to Wilbur Scheiding on August 20, 1942 in Covington, KY. She was a longtime resident of Sun Prairie and Columbus. Eleanor had a love for music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She was a member of the Methodist church in Columbus.

Eleanor is survived by her children Roberta Petke, Carla ( Glenn) Miller, William( Karen) Scheiding and Paula Hauser; grandchildren Ryan ( Jodi) Miller, Robin (Paul) Quest, Darrin( Jenny) Miller, Matthew Scheiding, Dawn ( Dave) Young, Eric , Carl and Kyle Hauser; 9 great-grandchildren and brother Robert Joseph. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur and son in law Phillip Petke.

A memorial service for Eleanor will held 10:00am on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Columbus Nursing Home, 825 Western Avenue in Columbus.
