Edwin Herman

Marshall - Edwin J. "Ed" Herman, age 57, passed away from heart disease on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at his home in Marshall. He was born on March 19, 1960, in Madison, the son of James and Marjorie (Plank) Herman.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Herman; sisters, Renee (Tim) Laufenberg, Gail (Mike) Leslie and Penny (Mike) Sutkay; nieces and nephew, Travis (Lauren Krause) Leslie, Audra (Jacob) Schultz, Vanessa (Tim Beltz) Leslie, Danielle Leslie, Megan and Emma Sutkay; estranged wife Paula Herman; step-daughters, Arika Gosdeck and Michelle (Dustin) Boerst; step-grandchildren, Braden, Weston and Finley; his beloved dog, Molly; and many wonderful friends

Ed was preceded in death by his father.

Ed loved farming and working the land on the third-generation family farm. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Ed also served on the Medina Cemetery Board.

Ed had a special place in his heart for border collies. We know that he is smiling now with his faithful companion, Katie, by his side. Rest in peace, Ed.

Private family services will be held.

Memorials may be made in Ed's name to the Medina Cemetery in Marshall.
