Edward Forbes

August 11, 1932 — July 21, 2016

Edward Francis Forbes , Jr. left this world for bigger and better things, surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 21, 2016. Ed was the oldest son of Edward and Catherine Forbes. He was a lifelong Madison resident, graduating from Central High School in 1951. Among Ed's passions were: spending time with family, especially the grandchildren; enjoying the outdoors, gardening and landscaping; tree trimming; sports; reading about history, especially the Civil War ; and traveling with Patsy. Ed loved telling stories and sharing "20 minutes of the past" or making people smile and laugh,
