Eddy A. Tavarez

  Madison--Eddy Antonio Tavarez, age 60, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at his home. He was born on May 22, 1948 the son of the late Modesto and Silfrida (Soler) Tavarez. Eddy graduated from high school in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He then attended Jr. College and earned a degree in Industrial Mechanics. Eddy was a great baseball fan. His favorite baseball team was the Boston Red Sox. He was a great supporter and No. 1 fan of the Latin Baseball League in Madison.   Eddy is survived by his wife, Olga; sons, Erick and Luis Modesto; daughters, Yessenia and Judy; grandchildren, Amelia and Anthony Jeremy.   Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave, Madison. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
