Dwight G. Norman, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born July 30, 1931 in Madison, son to Dwight L. and Edith (Peck) Norman .Dwight was united in marriage to Patricia Motl on October 29, 1955 in Waterloo.

Dwight graduated from East HS and UW Madison. He served honorably in the US Army in Washington DC. He served his fraternity, Delta Tau Delta with distinction for over 40 years, being cited into the Fraternity's Distinguished Chapter in 1992. Dwight started his own business, Norman Construction in Sun Prairie, after working many years in the city of Milwaukee.

Dwight is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat ; his children Dwight L " Rick ",Suzanne P. ( Jeffrey) Norman Barnes ,Michael S. ( Shelly) and Robert J. Norman; grandchildren Amanda Barnes and Cristen and Emily Norman; sister Duane Winchester; sister in laws Jean Norman, Valery Stumpff, and JoAnn Klotzbuecher; brother in law Edward Klotzbuecher; and many extended family members. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Thomas and Eugene Norman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Terrence Connors presiding. A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the mass.
