Dr. Ricardo B. Quintana, Jr.

Dr. Ricardo Beckwith Quintana Jr., age 70, passed away November 25, 2010. He was born August 23, 1940 in Madison, the son of distinguished Professor Ricardo B. & Janet (Harris) Quintana Sr.
Dr. Quintana, Jr. received a BA from Harvard, an MA from the University of Chicago, and a PHD from UW Madison -- each in mathematics. He was known for his work on the restricted Burnside problem.
Dr. Quintana,  Jr. is survived by his wife Kathleen (Vinz) Quintana and son Christian Watson. A graveside service was held at Middleton Cemetery in Verona on November 30th.  A very special thank you to the staff at Badger Prairie Health Care Center for your wonderful care of Ricardo!           Â
