Dorothy J. Stacy

Dorothy J. Stacy, 81, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026. She was born in Richland Center, WI on September 5, 1944, to Leonard and Camilla Ford. She married her husband, Jon E. Stacy, on December 19, 1963.

She was a legal secretary at WPS until retiring in 1995 to babysit her grandchildren. She had many hobbies; knitting, reading, mahjong and shopping. She also enjoyed watching Badger Sports, the Packers, and NASCAR.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Steven (Brenda) Stacy and Lora (Lee) Hanson; and her grandchildren, Samantha and Mikayla; brothers Doug and Joe Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband Jon; and her parents.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Cress Funeral Home, 5801 HWY 51, McFarland , WI. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens.
