Dorothy Klinkner

May 11, 1923 — May 14, 2015

MADISON - Dorothy M. Klinkner, age 92, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones at All Saints Assisted Living.

She was born in Dane, on May 11, 1923, to the late Herman and Josephine (Plendl) Kurt. She married the love of her life, Sylvester L. Klinkner, in June of 1946.

Dorothy loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events and was one of their biggest fans. She also loved dogs, flowers, gardening, birds, attending mass, playing euchre, cooking, watching Dancing with the Stars and eating at Culvers. She enjoyed playing softball and loved watching baseball. She was an avid Brewers fan. She was an Oscarette and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Queen's Guild. She and Sylvester enjoyed traveling together to such places as Arizona, New York City and their favorite destination was Hawaii.

Dorothy's deepest love was her family and friends. She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Patricia Seaman of Madison; loving grandchildren, Jon and Andrea Seaman; sister, Kathleen (Lyle) Fenske; all of her nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Susan Bulgrin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Marilyn; sister, Lavern; and son-in-law, Gary Seaman.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Orest Kostelyna for all of his tremendous kindness, care, and support, and to the fabulous staff of All Saints Assisted Living and Agrace Hospice for their excellent care and love.

Dorothy was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She lived life to its fullest and wanted others to do the same. She is gone from our lives, but will forever live on in our hearts.

Dorothy lived her life by the motto: "Live it up while you can."
