Doris Williams

Doris Williams of Sun Prairie Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 86 years old. Doris, affectionately called Granny, showed love and a genuine interest in everyone she met. She loved her family dearly and never met a stranger; she made friends everywhere she went. It was a joy to just sit and listen to her share stories about life, family and those priceless nuggets of wisdom. Doris' strong faith in God was evident in the way she lived her life. Through all of life's ups and downs she continued to trust the Lord. Even in her passing, she showed great strength, courage and an unshakable faith in God. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and everyone that was connected to her. Doris enjoyed the years that she spent at her home in Angell Park Apartments. The residents became her extended family. She is resting in the Lord; a rest that is well deserved!
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Cress Funeral Home located at 3325 East Washington Ave, Madison WI. 53704. Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday. Doris will be laid to rest at Sun Prairie Memory Garden, 1147 Clarmar Ave, Sun Prairie, WI.
