Doreen Drescher

SUN PRAIRIE - Doreen May Drescher, age 60, of Sun Prairie and Town of Burke, passed away January 12, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born May 25, 1956 in DeForest, WI, the daughter of Walter A. and Janet E. Miller. She married Richard D. Drescher on August 27, 1977 at Windsor United Church of Chris in Windsor, WI by Pastor David Moyer.
Doreen graduated from DeForest High School in 1972, and attended MATC for 2 years, studying business and accounting. She worked for many years at American Family Insurance.
Survivors include her husband, Richard D.; 3 daughters: Heidi M. (Irvin), Amanda M., Amy K.; 8 grandchildren: Miranda and Trey, Jasmine, Dylan, Cyridyan, Cassandra and Isabel, and Cameron Castrogiovanni II; as well as sisters and brothers: Esther Whitman, of Almond, WI, Noreen Maxwell of Oskaloosa, IA, and Ron Miller of Watertown, WI.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at Madison Baptist Church, 2323 Portage Rd., Madison, WI. Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53704.
