Donna Winnick

Donna Carol Winnick, age 68, of Middleton passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Madison. She was born on August 21, 1948 in Chicago, Ill, the daughter of Jeanne and David Winnick.

Donna was passionate about helping developmentally disabled children and adults during her long career with the Dane County Department of Human Services and Goodwill Industries. She continued this passion after retirement by co-founding LOV-Dane, a non-profit organization helping people with disabilities to live active, independent lives in the community.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Glenberg; son, Jonathan Glenberg; brother, Ed (Kris) Winnick; sisters, Lois (Bruce) Chapman and Susan Sutton; uncle, Bob (Marcy) Brower; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 11am. Burial will follow at Beit Olamim Jewish Cemetery in Sunset Memory Gardens.
