Donna Lind

Madison - Donna Jean Lind, age 74, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2015, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on September 21, 1940 in Aurora, Minnesota, the daughter of William Joseph and Molly Ann (Turk) Mitchell.

Donna Jean's career included working in retail sales, and for years was the manager of women's clothing stores. She and her husband Lloyd retired in 1996 and enjoyed traveling and spending their winter months in Florida. She loved to be together with family, relatives and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd H. Lind; her children, Lynnae (Kevin) Mahaney, James (Jody) Swentik; two stepsons, Paul (DeAnna) Lind and Patrick (Sharon) Lind; seven loving grandchildren, Alaina, Theresa, Tara, Ryan, Trevor, Geena and Alexandra; two great grandsons, Ethan and Phinneaus; sisters, Kathleen Adler and Susan Nicholson; brother, William (Shelly) Mitchell, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Donna Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at SUN PRAIRIE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 702 North Street, Sun Prairie, on Monday, June 15, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Frank Gaylord officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
