Donna Marie Brown, 66, of Sun Prairie passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026.

Donna was born in Italy to William and Lenore (Hoffman) Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Rich; son, Aaron (Emily); grandchildren, Josiah, Olivia, and Oliver.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lenore Miller.

Her husband shares this message to express his love for Donna – “When I was 31, I was lonely and very despondent. I knelt down by my bed and prayed that the next girl I am attracted to would have dark hair and become my wife. Little did I know that Donna had prayed earlier for a tall man that would be kind and sweet. Two weeks later, we met, we liked each other and she needed a ride to church, I was that ride. 45 years later, I very sadly had to say “Goodbye” after a bitter fight with Osteoporosis and Cancer. I never loved anyone as much as I loved her. What a super great blessing she was! I will see her again, hopefully soon!”

Her son, Aaron, reflects on the special bond they shared: “I was blessed to grow up close to my mother. Her love was steady and unmistakable, even when our path looked different from others. She gave up her days to educate me and stayed present through every challenge, always making sure I was okay. She held fast to her faith and beliefs no matter how hard things became, and she cared for others with quiet dedication. I will miss her gentle guidance and the long conversations that shaped me. We didn’t always agree, but her love never failed. She will always be the mother I love and respect, the one I miss with a full heart, and the one I look forward to seeing again.

Donna is also preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Miller, Bob Miller, Kris Miller, Clint Miller; and sisters, Cathy, Terry, Stacy, and Sherry.

A message from Donna’s sister Cathy leave the memory of Donna with readers: “ I would describe her as a woman who lived her life with integrity, courage, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.”

A celebration of Donna’s life will be scheduled for a later date.
