Windsor: Donald Joseph Olbrys, age 73, died peacefully Friday, April 8, 2016 surrounded by his family at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI. He was born February 22, 1943 in Milwaukee. Don graduated from Nicolet High School in Glendale, and later from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He served his country in the United States Air Force, and was a restaurant manager for Wisconsin restaurants including Rocky Rococo in the La Crosse Market, and most recently at Chuck E. Cheese in Madison. While living in La Crosse Don was director of the La Crosse Riverfest and Octoberfest from 1986 thru 1990. He is survived by his wife Sandy, son DJ (Amanda), and granddaughter Olivia. Please share your memories of Don.
