Donald Larsen

Lancaster, Wis. - Donald J. Larsen, age 78, of Moore, Idaho, Recently living with family in Lancaster, Wis., died peacefully at University Hospital Madison, on September 13, 2012 after his battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Clarence Larsen of Park Ridge, Ill., and will be missed by his family J Kevin and Jeannie (Dailey) Larsen of Lancaster, Brian Larsen of Shelley, Idaho, Kim Larsen of Snowflake, Ariz., and grandsons Adam and Eric Larsen of Platteville, Wis., & Nathan Larsen of Shelley, Idaho.
Though never having gone to College himself, Don taught Electrical Engineering at DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix, Arizona for several years before moving to Wisconsin, were he was chief engineer of WSUP at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, then moving to Rapid City, South Dakota, he was Chief Engineer for KOTA Broadcasting.
The family plans a private burial near his parents in Des Plaines, Illinois.
