Donald Dahlk

Dahlk, Donald D. "Donnie" age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Madison on Tuesday, January 8th, 2013. Donald was born March 5th, 1937 in Madison, the son of Gilbert and Frances (Herfel) Dahlk.
Donnie is survived by his brothers Claude (Judy) Dahlk of Stoughton, and Gilbert (Jean) Dahlk of Waunakee and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Charlotte, sister Fern, and brother Darrell.
Donnie's spunky personality and playful sense of humor will be missed greatly by his friends and caregivers at Dreamweavers Inc., (in particular his housemate Eddie and his live-in Big Don), his guardian Jayme, his broker Erin, and the many friends he made along the way at Orchard Hill, EMMCA, MPA/VPI, and Catholic Charities. Donnie loved going to Badger Camp, going to the day center and seeing all his friends, and spending time watching the kids and dogs playing outside. A special thank you to his medical team at Dean Fish Hatchery for the excellent support and care that they provided to Donnie.
A gathering will be held at SUNSET MEMORY GARDENS, 7302 Mineral Point Rd. Madison, on Tuesday, January 15th, 2013, from 11:00am to 12:00 noon.
