Donald D. Corcoran

Middleton -- Donald D. ""Doc"" Corcoran, age 82, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 .   He was born on June 8, 19 28 in Madison, the son of Jack and Lottie (Haakenstad) Corcoran.   Doc served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during WWII.   For many years, Doc and Jim Schultz were business partners together for the Utility Construction Company as plumbers.   Doc will be dearly missed by his two sons, Bruce (Sue Kramer) Corcoran of DeForest and Lar Corcoran of Madison; two grandchildren, Erin and Christopher, ex-wife, Marion Corcoran of Madison ; two sisters, Doris Ringstad of Mazomanie and Hazel Leonard of Baraboo and sister-in-law, Colleen Savage of Verona .   He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends at Voss House in Middleton.   Doc was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, June Meyer and Bessie Olsen; three brothers, Jack, James, and Harold Corcoran.   Graveside services with military honors will be held at FOREST HILL CEMETERY , 1 Speedway Rd. , on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Susan Vergeront officiating.
