Dolores Roum

Sun Prairie - Dolores "Dee" Roum, age 70, passed away at her home on Monday, November 23, 2015 with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 12, 1945, the daughter of Edward and Marjorie (Storkson) Urfer.

On a beautiful day, Dee was united in marriage to James C. Roum on May 17, 1984 in Madison, Wisconsin. For 27 years, Dee worked at Farm and Fleet in the gift department until her retirement in 2005. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. Dee will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years; James "Jim" Roum, two daughters; Anita Moldenhauer Bechen and Jen Best, three grandchildren; John David Shope, Jasmine Shope, and Matthew Bechen, a great grandson; Jaxon, a son-in-law; Chris Shope and seven siblings; Ed (Gloria) Urfer, Tex (Connie) Urfer, Arlin Urfer, Sue (Bill) Pickett, Janet Urfer, Janice (Larry) Heaton and Scott (Stephanie) Keyes. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Diana Shope and a sister, Anna Layton.

A service of remembrance will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 3:00 pm. A time to gather will be held on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
