Dolores "Dee" M. Skrede

Madison – Dolores “Dee” (Henry) Skrede, at 89, passed away on Friday September 8, 2023, after a very brave struggle with health.  She was born April 22, 1934, to the late Gerald and Gladys (Buxton) Henry.  Dee was spirited woman and happy to be alive and loved her family.  She was at Oak Park Nursing Home where she was a resident for the last 24 years.  She was loved by many staff members.

Dee is survived by her 5 children: Mae Quamme of Beaver Dam, Roland Skrede of Madison, Jeffrey A. Skrede of Jefferson, Sheila Skrede of Belleville, and Joan (Steve Grotzke) Skrede of Madison; 4 grandchildren: Kerry Olson, Zachary Skrede, Kelsey Schaaf and Eric DeSelle; and 10 great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering will take place from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday September 15, 2023, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Madison.
