In Loving Memory

Dolores Frances Collins, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was born on October 20, 1921 in Kenosha, WI, daughter to Victor and Agnes (La Belle) Lascelle. Dolores was united in marriage to William Collins on January 21, 1942. Together they lived in Milwaukee, Port Washington, and Sun Prairie. Dolores graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee and then served in the Navy WAVES during WWII. She was a loving wife and mother to her children and enjoyed music, playing bridge and loved to golf.

Dolores is survived by her children; William Patrick " Pat" (Vera) Collins, Kathleen Collins and Michele Kornaus; grandchildren Patrick (Sheri) Collins, Christopher (Lynn) Collins, Nikki Collins, Brian (Helen) Retzer , Katie Kornaus and PJ Kornaus; great- grandchildren Elliot, Mary Jo, Sean, Evan, Raymond, Michael and Jennifer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Michael and sisters Geraldine Awe, Audrey Buschke and Muriel Weiskopf.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 20, 2015 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 221 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie with Father Chahm Gahng presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of mass at church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society.

The family would like to give special thanks to Tivoli Nursing Home staff, Portage, WI and Southern Care Hospice staff, Madison, WI for their compassionate care of our mother.
