Diane M. Hampton

Diane M. Hampton, age 71 of Waunakee, passed away on Tues., Dec. 2nd, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on Dec. 7, 1953 in Madison to Mary Rita and Duane Hampton.

Diane graduated from Montello High School in 1972. She was a cook at O’Malley’s Farm Café for 20 years and then cooked for the hot lunch program at St. John’s school for 10 years.

She was a member of St. John’s Parish and the Council of Catholic Women at St. John’s where she taught religious education for many years. Diane was always there to help with church dinners, events and the parish festival. She enjoyed celebrating special occasions with family and friends. She was an avid Packers and Brewers fan.

Diane is survived by her brother, Dennis; and special family, Charlene Kiell, Debbie Moore, Bonnie Stower and Gary McCartney. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11,2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St John’s Catholic Church 209 South St. Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
