Diane Ann Firari

Diane Ann Firari, 92, of Madison passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her home.

Diane was born on March 14, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Adam and Mabel (Shineldecker) Hartman. After graduating from Portage High School, Diane attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota in 1954. She then worked in the Art Department of Northwestern Mutual Insurance.

Diane was a member of the Past Presidents of the United States Women’s Curling Association in 1976 and was a very accomplished quilter.

She is survived by her children, Kristine Taylor Dalton, Judith Taylor Phillips, Jeffrey Hartmann Taylor, Kathryn Taylor Davis; grandchildren, Robert Thompson III, Danyelle Thompson, Christopher Phillips, Simon Phillips, Lynn Pigeon, Henry Pigeon, Dianna Mandala, Samuel Davis, and Adam Davis.

A celebration of life is being planned for Spring of 2026.
