Detarius Martin, Sr.

Detarius Martin, Sr., age 23, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 the victim of   a Madison homicide. He was born March 10, 1986, in Chicago, the son of Chuck and Bessie (Gregory) Martin.   Survivors include 2 children: Detarius , Jr. and Janiya; his mother Bessie Martin and father Chuck Martin both of Madison; his brothers and sisters: Demtrius Gregory of Chicago, Tamika Gregory of Madison, Mario Manney of Sauk City, IL, Chukarius Martin of Madison and Chukita Manney of Sauk City, IL; his maternal grandmother Lula Gregory of Sauk City, IL; his paternal grandmother Ramona Martin of Sauk City, IL and his ""brotherly cousin"" Wade Gregory of Madison.   Services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, June 23 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.   In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials in Detarius' name.
