Dennis Olson

Milton / Deerfield - Dennis (Ole) Olson age 72 of Milton, Wisc., died at home surrounded by his family and loved ones on Monday May 11, 2015. Dennis was born in Stoughton, Wisc., on February 10, 1943, eldest son of Ward and Doris Olson. He married Elaine Gibbs on June 22nd 1963 at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church, Deerfield, WI.

Dennis is survived by his wife Elaine, son; Dennis Jr. (Darla) Olson of Plainfield, daughter; Denise (William) Boerst of Janesville, brothers; Doug (Tina) Olson of Sun Prairie, David (Marlene) Olson of Stoughton, Dale (Wendy) Olson of Stoughton, sisters; Donna Olson of Deerfield, Diane (Jerry) Sliter of Brooklyn, Deb (Donnie) Kleven of Stoughton, grandchildren; Dawnise (Adam) Ryan of Wisc. Rapids, Dustin (Stephanie) Olson of Denison, TX., Deidre Boerst of South Beloit, Ill., Savannah Boerst of Janesville, Olivia Boerst of Janesville, and Trevor Olson of Darien, four great grandchildren; Marcus Hamilton, Jonathan Hamilton, Cadence Hamilton, Adalynn Ryan, and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Ward and Doris Olson and infant son Dwight.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church, 3494 Oak Park Rd., Deerfield on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church educational center and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services on Friday in the church sanctuary. Dennis will be laid to rest at St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Cemetery. Following the committal service everyone is invited to a luncheon in the educational center at church.
