Dennis Leslie Meiller passed away on December 24, 2025, while at his home in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin at the age of 75 of prostate cancer. He was born in Stoughton, Wisconsin on May 22, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Reva Meiller and his brother Mitchell.

Dennis spent his life serving others. At the start of his career as a licensed practical nurse, he lived with and cared for a man who was totally incapacitated and needed 24-hour care. After several years, the man died and Dennis went on to care for many people in similar situations. To do that work you have to be a special person. Most of us couldn't do it. But Dennis served with love and distinction. He never received a formal award for his work, but family members of people he served were uniform in their praise of Dennis. He joins brother Mitch, who died 10 months earlier. In his instructions made years earlier to the kind people at Cress Funeral Home, Dennis requested to be cremated and that there would be no memorial service.

Dennis is survived by his sister Meredith Meiller, brother Larry Meiller and three nieces, Carolee Anglehart, Diann Meiller and Emily Meiller. We mourn his passing.
