Delynn Simonis

McFarland- DeLynn Ann Korfmacher Simonis, age 46, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at her home after a battle with Scleroderma. She was born in Madison on April 20, 1970, the daughter of Myron "Mike" and Diane Korfmacher. DeLynn graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1988. She attended Winona State University in MN. DeLynn worked as a waitress at the Green Lantern Restaurant for over 25 years. She loved her job and interactions with her customers. DeLynn was married to Jeff Simonis and together they raised their son, Bryce, who was her pride and joy. DeLynn was an avid Badger and Packer fan. She enjoyed golfing with her girlfriends, and boating with friends. DeLynn is survived by her son, Bryce; her mother, Diane Slagle; brother, Craig (Dori) Korfmacher; and two nieces, Tayler and Anika. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike; and step father, Chuck Slagle. A celebration of DeLynn's life will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland, with a brief prayer service at 7pm. Private burial will be held at a later date in Hope Cottage Grove Cemetery. A special thank you to Care Wisconsin for their professional dedication to help keep DeLynn comfortable and in her home.
