Delores Strassman

Madison- Delores Rose Strassman, age 88, passed away January 20, 2018 at Heritage Memory Care. She was born August 16, 1929 in Madison WI, the daughter of August and Rose Strassman.

After graduating from Edgewood High School, Delores was employed by the State of Wisconsin until her retirement. Delores loved to travel and had visited every state in the Continental US. Her favorite mode of travel was a tour bus. She was an avid bowler, and loved books and enjoyed collecting and listening to music.

Delores is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers; August Jr., Raymond, Gerald and Delmer.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00 am until 11:30 am on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI 53705. A prayer service will take place at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, 3054 County Road BB, Madison. WI 53718
