Delores M. Gibson

Madison - Delores M. Gibson, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at UW Hospital in Madison.   She was born on September 4, 1923 in Almond, WI, the daughter of Ezra and Murna (Trickey) Rath.  She was united in marriage to Stanley F. Gibson on March 7, l942 at Almond, WI.  She is survived by her children Sandra Kavanaugh, Linda Gibson, James Gibson (Sue), Barbara (James) Harrison and Bonnie (Kenneth) Beilke; six grandchildren, April Pake, Richard Hansen, Michael Hansen, Jennifer Hansen, Jeffrey Harrison, Kimberly Harrison, Luis Medaris and five great-children Chayse Pake, Justin Pake, Madison Pake, Madison Hansen and Mason Hansen.  Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley and her brother, Donald Rath.  Private funeral services for the immediate family and Oakwood residents will be held at Oakwood Village East, Tree of Life Chapel, 5565 Tancho Drive Madison, on Wednesday, February 16th at 11:00 with Rev. Doug Locken officiating.  A visitation will be held at Oakwood Village East on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Memorials may be directed to the Oakwood Foundation or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
