Deb Mosser

Debra Kay Mosser (Praxl), age 67, of Columbus, Wisconsin, was called home on October 11, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Debra was born on April 26, 1958, in Waseca, Minnesota, to John and Janice Praxl. She grew up with her brothers, Mark and Craig, and graduated from Waseca High School.

On November 7, 1987, she married the love of her life, Douglas. Together, they built a family and a life filled with love and laughter. Debra was a devoted mother to Nathan (Sara) and Tyler (Brittni), and a proud grandmother to Jackson and Beckett. She also cherished her “grand-dogs,” Luna, JJ, and Kessler, who brought her much joy.

Debra was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved scrapbooking, card making, baking, reading, and trying her hand at all kinds of crafts. Her creativity and warmth shone through in everything she did. She was also deeply involved in her church community, serving as an Alter Guide at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas; her children, Nathan (Sara) and Tyler (Brittni); her grandchildren, Jackson and Beckett; her brothers, Mark (Julie) and Craig (Jodi); her uncle, Richard Weller; her stepmother, Phoebe Praxl; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John “Jack” Praxl and Janice (Dennis) Priebe; her aunt, Delores Weller; and her grandparents, Grandma & Grandpa Miller and Grandma & Grandpa Praxl.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place from Noon to 3 p.m., with the service beginning at 3 p.m. A luncheon will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation and the American Diabetes Association. Debra will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
