Debra A. Hoel

Stoughton – Debra Ann Hoel, age 65, passed away on August 25, 2023.  Debra was born in Stoughton on January 7, 1958, to Wesley and Ann Hoel.  She went to special Ed classes at McFarland and Cottage Grove.  Then she went to MARC in Stoughton and retired after 40 years.

 Debbie loved to play basketball and bean bags.  She loved her country music and loved to dance.  She always had a big hug for everyone, you had better be ready.

Debbie was so fortunate to be part of the Community Living Connections family.  She had the most wonderful care from the CLC Staff.

Debbie is survived by her sister Kathy (Dale) Alme; nephews Brett (Ann) Alme and Scott (Amanda) Alme and great nieces Claire and Taylor Alme.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother David.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday September 1, 2023, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 206 Prospect St. Stoughton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CLC Stoughton, MARC Stoughton or Agrace HospiceCare Inc.

A special thank you to all the CLC Staff for seeing that Debbie had the greatest quality of life.  Thank you to all who were with her in her final days and thank you to Agrace HospiceCare nurses.
